This article explores the innovation at Class IIA Magelang Correctional Institution. The program was aimed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of attendance tracking for cleaning and labor inmates. Previously, the process was done manually and ineffectively. As a solution, a web-based digital attendance system called “PENTAS TAMPAN EL LANG” (Identity Check for Cleaning and Labor Inmates) was developed. The system uses ID cards with unique barcodes for automatic and real-time attendance logging. The project involved several stages: observation, system design, ID card creation, staff training, testing, and full implementation.This innovation offers significant benefits. It ensures data accuracy, promotes inmate discipline, facilitates staff supervision, and supports administrative efficiency and prison digitalization..In addition, the cadet gained valuable hands-on experience in applying technology to institutional needs. This system is expected to serve as a model for implementing simple but impactful technology in other correctional institutions.
