This community service program was carried out at SMKN 1 Ciruas on October 13, 2025, aiming to improve the quality of young human resources through environmental education based on real action and the application of the 3R concept (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). The program began with an initial observation of the school’s environmental conditions to identify students’ waste-management habits and the availability of supporting facilities. This was followed by socialization, training, and mentoring sessions designed to help students understand and implement the principles of 3R through practical activities such as waste sorting, reusing usable materials, and creating creative products from recyclable items. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ knowledge, awareness, and environmental responsibility. Participants became more skilled in sorting waste, understanding the environmental impact of daily behavior, and adopting environmentally friendly habits. Beyond behavioral change, the program also contributed to improving the physical condition of the school environment, making it cleaner, better organized, and more conducive to learning. The findings demonstrate that real-action-based educational approaches are effective in shaping environmentally responsible character while enhancing the quality of young human resources.
