ANALISIS DESKRIPTIF KUALITATIF TENTANG MENURUNNYA KESADARAN BUDAYA LOKAL DI KALANGAN PEMUDA DESA KOTARAJA

Penurunan kesadaran budaya lokal di kalangan pemuda Desa Kotaraja, Lombok, menjadi fenomena signifikan yang dipengaruhi oleh globalisasi, modernisasi, dan penetrasi teknologi digital, menimbulkan dilema identitas antara tradisi lokal dan modernitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kasus, mengumpulkan data melalui observasi partisipan dan wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap 15 pemuda, kemudian dianalisis secara tematik untuk menangkap pola dan makna pengalaman mereka. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa arus global, media sosial, minimnya transmisi budaya dari generasi tua, urbanisasi, migrasi, dan pergeseran nilai sosial-ekonomi menurunkan partisipasi pemuda dalam kegiatan adat, berdampak pada sepinya upacara dan melemahnya identitas sosial. Fenomena ini mencerminkan transformasi identitas pemuda yang berada dalam dilema antara tuntutan modern dan nilai tradisi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi pelestarian kontekstual melalui pendidikan budaya, program lintas generasi, kampanye budaya hibrid, dan insentif ekonomi bagi pemuda.
