STOP BULLYING, MULAI DARI KITA: SOSIALISASI ANTIPERUNDUNGAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 148 OLEH MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH RIAU

Abstract

This community service program was implemented by students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau at SD Negeri 148, featuring the theme "Stop Bullying, Starts with Us." The activity aimed to provide preventive education to Grade 4B students to create a safe and conducive school environment. The implementation method employed a participatory approach through multimodal material delivery, role-play simulations to foster empathy, and a joint commitment declaration. An interactive approach was selected to maximize student engagement in understanding the negative impacts of bullying directly. Results indicated an improvement in students' understanding of bullying classifications and fostered the courage to report incidents to teachers. High enthusiasm was evident from the students' active participation during the simulation and discussion sessions. The school administration responded positively, deeming the program highly relevant to current student character-building needs. Through this initiative, the university students successfully facilitated the reinforcement of prosocial values within the elementary school setting. It is concluded that the experiential learning method is effective in raising anti-bullying awareness. Consequently, it is recommended that the school integrate this module into routine student activities to ensure sustainable impact.
