ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN BAYI NY.J DENGAN BERAT BADAN LAHIR RENDAH (BBLR) MELALUI PENERAPAN TEKNIK NESTING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SATURASI OKSIGEN DI RUANG PERINATOLOGI RSUD MUHAMMAD SANI KARIMUN
Abstract
Background: LBW is one of the causes of death in the first month of life. The incidence of low birth weight (LBW) causes various public health impacts both during birth and during their future development. LBW contributes to 60% to 80% of all neonatal deaths and has a risk of death 20 times greater than babies with normal weight. Objective: To determine nursing care for low birth weight infants including assessment, diagnosis, intervention and implementation, especially nesting therapy to increase oxygen saturation in LBW infants and nursing evaluation. Method: Namely with nesting therapy to increase oxygen saturation in infants with LBW. Results: After nursing care for 4x24 hours, the results obtained improved breathing patterns, hypothermia improved, nutritional deficits improved, the risk of infection decreased. Conclusion: The client's nursing problems were all resolved and the use of respiratory assistance and nesting can stabilize hemodynamics in infants.
