Abstract

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan masalah kesehatan yang saat ini masih banyak terjadi di masyarakat. Perawatan diri (self care) merupakan komponen penting dalam pengelolaan penyakit DM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku perawatan diri pada penderita DM berdasarkan penelitian pada tahun 2020-2025. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan mengumpulkan beberapa artikel dari database yaitu Google Scholar dan PubMed dengan kriteria inklusi berupa studi kuantitatif yang membahas faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi self care atau self management. Dari hasil pencarian ditemukan 50 artikel dan ditetapkan 8 artikel digunakan untuk menyusun informasi tentang faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi self care DM. Hasil didapatkan faktor-faktor pengetahuan, kemampuan aktivitas, kompetensi, efikasi diri, dukungan keluarga, motivasi, kesadaran diri, dukungan sosial, lama menderita, status merokok, komunikasi petugas kesehatan, dan pekerjaan mempengaruhi perilaku self care management penderita DM.
