This study aims to analyze the implementation of education and teaching at SD Negeri 006 Rotan Semelur, covering the education system, learning methods, educational and teaching issues, teachers' approaches to educating students, applied educational theories, and the implementation of learning based on the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews with school representatives. The results indicate that SD Negeri 006 Rotan Semelur has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum with various learning methods such as lectures, discussions, and practical activities. Learning activities include reading, writing, arithmetic, and project-based activities. Assessment is conducted through assignments, tests, and observations. The school also has a hadrah extracurricular activity as a means of character development for students. However, several issues exist, such as lack of parental involvement, limited educational facilities, and an excessive number of students in a single class. Teachers strive to address these issues by implementing character-based learning, extracurricular activities, and positive habituation. Cognitive and constructivist learning theories form the foundation of the learning implementation in this school. Overall, the implementation of education at SD Negeri 006 Rotan Semelur is running fairly well, but improvements are still needed in terms of facilities and parental support.
