This research aims to describe misconceptions in physics learning and show Indonesia's contribution to research on misconceptions based on the Scopus database. The method used is bibliometric analysis with VOSviewer and systematic literature observation. Visualization with the keywords "physics misconceptions" and "alternative concepts of physics" shows that there are four main clusters in this research. The institutions with the highest number of publications are dominated by universities in Indonesia, although the United States is the country that contributes the most research. Top authors in research do not necessarily go to top sites, Clement is one of the researchers who goes to both. This research trend moves from general misconceptions to effective misconception remediation. Based on the bibliometric analysis, the most frequently studied misconception topic is mechanics, the most commonly used diagnostic instrument is multiple-choice tests, and the most frequently applied remediation method is conceptual change text.
