Merencanakan Desain Tempat Duduk di Perpustakaan: Scoping Review

Penelitian ini bertujuan mensintesis literatur tentang desain tempat duduk di perpustakaan melalui pendekatan scoping review menggunakan pedoman PRISMA. Penelusuran dilakukan pada basis data Scopus dan Google Scholar dengan fokus pada artikel yang membahas desain tempat duduk, tata ruang, serta preferensi dan perilaku pengguna perpustakaan. Dari 502 artikel yang ditemukan, 10 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi untuk dianalisis secara penuh. Pemustaka memiliki kebutuhan berbeda, mulai dari ruang individual, area kelompok dan kegiatan santai. Desain yang baik harus menyediakan variasi tempat duduk seperti study carrel bersekat, area santai dengan kursi modular, ruang Area Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), serta zona kolaboratif yang fleksibel. Studi ini juga menyoroti bahwa banyak perpustakaan masih menggunakan konfigurasi konvensional yang tidak adaptif terhadap perilaku belajar modern. Oleh karena itu, perancang interior dan pengelola perpustakaan perlu menerapkan prinsip evidance base.
