Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah (problem-solving skill) merupakan salah satu bentuk kompetensi kognitif dan metakognitif yang esensial dalam berbagai ranah, termasuk pendidikan, dunia kerja, dan aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari. Scoping review ini bertujuan untuk memetakan faktor-faktor determinan yang berperan dalam membentuk dan memengaruhi kompetensi pemecahan masalah, berdasarkan tinjauan terhadap literatur empiris terkini. Proses telaah dilakukan dengan mengacu pada pedoman PRISMA-ScR, melalui penelusuran artikel pada beberapa basis data ilmiah terkemuka seperti Scopus, ScienceDirect, dan Google Scholar, dengan rentang publikasi antara tahun 2015 hingga 2025.
Temuan kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa determinan utama kompetensi pemecahan masalah meliputi kemampuan kognitif (misalnya berpikir kritis dan kreativitas), kemampuan regulasi diri, efikasi diri, motivasi intrinsik, pengalaman belajar kolaboratif, serta dukungan dari lingkungan sosial dan institusional. Implikasi dari hasil ini menekankan pentingnya penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif, strategi metakognitif, serta penguatan dukungan sosial dalam konteks pendidikan maupun organisasi profesional.
