This study examined the representation of trans women in government as an indicator of inclusive democracy from a cross national comparative perspective. The research problem emerged from the fact that democratic systems did not always ensure equal political participation for gender minorities. The study aimed to explain the relationship between the representation of trans women in government and the level of democratic inclusiveness and to identify institutional factors influencing such representation. A qualitative approach using library research with a comparative design was applied. Data were analyzed through a review of academic literature and policy documents related to gender identity and political representation. The findings indicated that the level of trans women’s representation in government was influenced by political institutional design, legal frameworks, and social dynamics shaping political participation opportunities for gender minorities. The study concluded that the representation of trans women could serve as an important indicator for assessing the quality of inclusive democracy
