ANALISIS STRUKTURAL DAN NILAI-NILAI MORAL PADA CERPEN “J3:TENTANG SULUNG,SI TENGAH, DAN SI BUNGSU” KARYA ATIKA

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Atikaa's novel "J3: Tentang Sulung, Si Tengah, dan Si Bungsu" through a structural approach and uncover the moral values contained therein. The structural approach is used to identify the novel's intrinsic elements, such as theme, plot, characters and characterization, setting, point of view, and moral message. Meanwhile, a moral approach is used to examine the ethical message conveyed through the inner conflict of Juwita (the middle child), who feels alienated from her family. The results show that the novel has a structure centered on Juwita and conveys subtle criticism of unfair treatment within the family and social pressures. Moral values such as self-acceptance, courage, and empathy are at the core of the novel's humanist message. This study concludes that "J3" is a relevant literary work as a medium for reflection on psychological issues and the importance of communication within the family.
