Field Work Practice (PKL) is a learning activity aimed at integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience in the workplace. This article discusses the implementation of PKL by Library and Information Science students at the Library of SMAN 20 Gowa, conducted from August 1 to September 12. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through observation, active participation, informal interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that students were involved in various library management and service activities, including data entry of library collections using the SLiMS application, labeling and organizing library materials, providing services to users, and assisting students in reading activities. These activities contributed to improved collection organization, more effective technology-based management, and optimized library services. The implementation of FWP provided students with empirical experience in understanding school library operations and supported the strengthening of the library’s role as a center for learning resources and information literacy.
