PENGARUH PERKEMBANGAN TEKNOLOGI DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER POSITIF ANAK DI DESA JAGAN

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the lifestyles of children, including those in Jagan Hamlet. Children are at a crucial age for learning good habits and values, so unsupervised use of technology can negatively impact their behavior and morals. This article examines how technology influences children's positive character through community service activities in the form of outreach in Jagan Hamlet. This study used qualitative methods in an educational, engaging, and enjoyable manner. To collect data, researchers observed and spoke with the children. Before the outreach program, most children only used technology for fun and still lacked knowledge about time management, responsibility, or the use of gadgets as educational tools. After the program, significant improvements were observed. Children became more responsible for how much time they spent playing with gadgets, used technology creatively for learning, and learned to use it wisely. This demonstrates that appropriate outreach can help children build good character and use technology as a useful learning tool.
