Abstract

A Hospital Information System (HIS) is an information and communication technology system that integrates all hospital services. If not fully implemented, there are obstacles during delevery. This can affect the level of user acceptance of HIS use, to measure the extent to which users accept the use of HIS in the registration unit. The TAM model is one theory that serves as an approach to explain the behavior of information technology users based on beliefs, attitudes, intentions, and the relationship of user behavior. To determine the description of the acceptance of HIS use in the outpatient registration unit using the TAM method. This is a qualitative research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and observations of patient registration officers. This study was conducted at RSU Sinar Kasih Purwokerto for 2 days ( Sep 19, 2024 to Sep 20, 2024). The result showed that the suboptimal features og the HIS application resulted in a lack of effectiveness in use. Officers have an interest in using HIS because it can facilitate patient services even though the features are not yet fully complete. Based on the result of evaluation, the problem can be solved.
