STUDI FENOMENOLOGI LATAR BELAKANG PERILAKU MEROKOK PADA REMAJA DI PONDOK PESANTREN MANBAUL HIKMAH LUWUNGRAGI BREBES

Abstract

Latar belakang : Di Provinsi Jawa Tengah, persentase orang yang merokok pada kelompok usia 15 hingga 24 tahun meningkat 20,93% pada tahun 2020 dibandingkan dengan 19,92% pada tahun 2019. Kabupaten Brebes merupakan kabupaten tertinggi ketiga di Jawa Tengah dengan persentase perokok 20,93% pada tahun 2019, terutama di daerah pedesaan yang masih memiliki akses edukasi kesehatan rendah dan penjualan rokok yang sangat mudah. Desa Luwungragi merupakan salah satu desa dengan tingginya aktivitas remaja dan banyaknya warung yang menjual rokok tanpa batasan usia, sehingga kebiasaan merokok berkembang sejak dini. Pondok Pesantren Manbaul Hikmah dipilih karena mayoritas santrinya adalah remaja SMP–SMK yang sangat rentan terhadap pengaruh teman sebaya. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan santri terbiasa merokok di area yang minim pengawasan, sementara aturan larangan merokok belum berjalan efektif. Kondisi ini menjadikan pondok tersebut lokasi yang tepat untuk meneliti faktor penyebab perilaku merokok pada remaja pesantren. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk menggali pengalaman santri mengenai perilaku merokok. Partisipan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, terdiri dari 16 santri laki-laki perokok aktif yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam menggunakan pedoman wawancara berbasis Health Belief Model. Seluruh wawancara direkam, ditranskripsi, dan dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis fenomenologi Colaizzi, yang meliputi identifikasi pernyataan penting, perumusan makna, pengelompokan tema, serta validasi temuan melalui member checking. Penelitian ini telah memperoleh persetujuan etik, dan seluruh partisipan diberikan informed consent serta dijamin kerahasiaan identitasnya. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan enam faktor utama yang memengaruhi perilaku merokok pada santri, yaitu: kurangnya internalisasi pengetahuan tentang bahaya merokok, pengaruh kuat dari teman sebaya, keluarga yang permisif, lingkungan pesantren yang mendukung santri merokok secara sembunyi-sembunyi, faktor psikologis seperti stres dan kejenuhan, serta mudahnya akses rokok di sekitar pesantren. Kesimpulan : Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perilaku merokok pada santri dipengaruhi oleh kombinasi faktor individu, lingkungan, dan sosial, terutama pengaruh teman sebaya, contoh dari keluarga, kurangnya pengawasan pesantren, serta mudahnya akses rokok. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya penguatan edukasi kesehatan dan penegakan aturan di pesantren untuk menekan perilaku merokok pada remaja.
