This study aims to describe how classroom climate influences student attendance at the high school level in Padang Panjang. A literature review indicates that a positive classroom climate including warm teacher-student relationships, social support, psychological comfort, and conducive interactions can increase learning motivation and decrease absenteeism. This study used qualitative descriptive methods through observation, interviews, and documentation to gain an in-depth understanding of classroom conditions and the factors influencing student attendance. The results indicate that a positive classroom climate contributes to increased student motivation and discipline in attending school. In Padang Panjang, the implementation of digital attendance and supporting facilities demonstrate the school's focus on discipline, although external factors such as weather and transportation remain influential. In conclusion, classroom climate is an important factor in encouraging student attendance, although not the only one. Therefore, strengthening interactions and emotional support, as well as further research based on local data, are needed.
