The implementation of Field Work Practice in Vocational High Schools requires students who are prepared with both technical and non-technical skills. However, there are still students in the 11th grade of Construction and Housing Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri who are not fully prepared to enter PKL, especially in terms of soft skills, drawing skills, and reading drawings. This situation can hinder students' ability to adapt and perform well during their field work practice at workplaces and in industry. This study aims to analyse the influence of soft skills, drawing skills, and reading drawings on the readiness of Grade XI Construction and Housing Technology students at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri for field work practice. In addition, this study also aims to determine the partial influence of each variable and the simultaneous influence of all three variables on the students' readiness for PKL. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The research sample consisted of 68 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires to measure soft skills and PKL readiness, AutoCAD practical tests to assess drawing skills, and descriptive tests to measure drawing reading skills. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results showed that soft skills had a positive and significant effect on PKL readiness, contributing 51.8%. Drawing skills had a positive influence of 19.3%, while reading drawings skills had a positive influence of 7.3%. Simultaneously, these three variables contributed 55.0% to the students' PKL readiness. These findings indicate that PKL readiness is influenced by a combination of students' technical and non-technical skills.
