Abstract
This study aims to determine how contemporary art exhibitions are managed at the National Gallery of Indonesia, from planning through implementation to evaluation. The focus of the research is on curatorial strategies, exhibition management systems, and the institution's role in supporting the development of contemporary art in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results indicate that the National Gallery of Indonesia implements a structured exhibition management system involving curators, artists, and gallery managers in a collaborative working mechanism. Key challenges include limited exhibition space, the need for new technology for interactive exhibitions, and efforts to expand public access. Professional and sustainable exhibition management is key to increasing public appreciation of contemporary art in Indonesia.
