Abstract

Gender justice in Islamic education remains a significant issue, particularly in policy planning at madrasahs, which is often influenced by curriculum bias, interpretations of religious teachings, and patriarchal culture. This study aims to analyze gender-responsive Islamic education planning policies at MTS Ar-Raudloh in an effort to strengthen gender justice. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, using in-depth interviews, observations, and analysis of educational planning documents involving the madrasah principal, teachers, and students. The findings indicate that gender perspectives have begun to be integrated into the curriculum, teacher training, reinterpretation of Islamic teachings, and the provision of equal participation opportunities for male and female students, although the implementation has not yet been fully optimal. This study concludes that gender-responsive Islamic education planning contributes to the development of a more inclusive and equitable educational environment and requires strengthened policies and stakeholder capacity to ensure sustainable implementation.
