Abstract
Logic as the science of thinking rules has a unique position in the history of Islamic civilization. This discipline historically in ancient traditions was adopted and combined by philosophers and scholars during the Abbasid golden age as a complex tool science. Logic has a clear framework by prioritizing the understanding of tasawwur and tashdiq to classify knowledge. This article uses a qualitative method with a focus on literature studies. Data Collection The data collection technique in this article is using the documentation technique method by reading in depth and repeatedly on the sources that have been collected. Organizing data By grouping raw data from 2 steps, completing quotes, and summarizing arguments to focus on issues relevant to the research objectives. This study found a number of important points related to the definition of science in logic, the law of studying logic, the purpose of logic and the benefits of logic in life including Science in logic is divided into two, namely tasawwur and tashdiq. The second opinion is recommended or required by Imam Al-Ghazali who argued how important logic is as a tool for all sciences. In ushul fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), logic is used to construct sound legal analyses, while in kalam (theology) it is a tool for defending arguments. Logic, or logic, is the study of correct thinking to avoid errors. The goal of logic is to provide structured thinking strategies to ensure the proper search and application of knowledge. By mastering logic, one can improve communication, build a strong ethical foundation, and achieve scientific truth in life.
