Security is a crucial function within the correctional system to ensure a safe and orderly environment in prisons. However, Class IIA Correctional Facility of Pematangsiantar faces significant challenges such as overcrowding, limited personnel, and inadequate infrastructure, making routine patrols less effective and increasing the risk of security disturbances. As an innovation, this study examines the implementation of a QR Code system linked to Google Forms, where patrol data is automatically recorded into a spreadsheet that can be directly monitored by the Head of the Correctional Facility (Kalapas) and the Head of Security (Ka. KPLP). The objective of this study is to support monitoring and security efforts at the Class IIA Correctional Facility of Pematangsiantar. The research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the QR Code implementation successfully enhances the effectiveness of patrol operations and strengthens early detection of potential security and order disturbances.
