Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages organizations to utilize information systems as a primary tool for managing operational data effectively and efficiently. PT JNE Express, as a logistics service company with high operational activities, requires an information system capable of managing shipment data, customer data, and operational reports in an integrated manner. This study aims to examine the implementation of information systems in supporting operational data management at PT JNE Express and to identify the benefits and challenges encountered in their application. The research method employed is a descriptive approach using data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results indicate that the implemented information system improves data accuracy, accelerates data processing and information retrieval, and enhances coordination among organizational units. However, several challenges remain, such as limited user understanding of system features and dependency on the system during technical disruptions. This study is expected to provide insights into the role of information systems in operational data management and serve as a reference for other organizations in implementing information systems optimally.
