IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN BARANG BERBASIS WEB DENGAN METODE AGILE PADA PT LIFESTYLE INTERNATIONAL

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah pengelolaan inventaris di PT. LIFESTYLE INTERNATIONAL yang masih dilakukan dengan metode manual menggunakan Excel, yang dinilai tidak efisien dan rawan kesalahan. Untuk mengoptimalkan proses tersebut, dikembangkan Sistem Informasi Persediaan barang berbasis Web dengan menerapkan metode Agile. Metode ini dipilih karena fleksibilitasnya dalam menyesuaikan perubahan kebutuhan pengguna selama proses pengembangan. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan dengan framework Laravel dan basis data MySQL, serta dilengkapi dengan fitur impor data dari Excel, operasi CRUD, dan kontrol akses berbasis peran. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dirancang mampu mempercepat proses pendataan inventaris, meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, dan akurasi pengelolaan barang, pegawai, unit kerja, dan ruangan. Sistem ini juga menghasilkan laporan KIB (Kartu Inventarisasi Barang) dan KIR (Kartu Inventarisasi Ruangan) sesuai standar yang berlaku, sehingga mampu meningkatkan kualitas manajemen inventaris.

Abstract

This research aims to address the problem of inventory management at PT. LIFESTYLE INTERNATIONAL, which is still carried out manually using Excel, which is considered inefficient and error-prone. To optimize this process, a web-based inventory information system was developed using the Agile method. This method was chosen because it initially accommodated changing user needs during the development process. The system was built using the Laravel framework and a MySQL database, and is equipped with data import features from Excel, CRUD operations, and role-based access control. Implementation results show that the designed system can accelerate the inventory data collection process, increasing the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of managing goods, employees, work units, and rooms. The system also generates KIB (Goods Inventory Card) and KIR (Room Inventory Card) reports in accordance with applicable standards, thereby improving the quality of inventory management.
