EDUCATIONAL LITERACY SEBAGAI UPAYA MENEKAN BULLYING DAN KRIMINALITAS DI LINGKUNGAN PENDIDIKAN

The phenomenon of bullying and minor criminality in junior high school environments has become an academic concern because it can seriously impact character development, learning comfort, and student achievement. This community service activity aims to increase students' awareness of the negative effects of bullying and criminal acts through educational and participatory approaches. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving students, teachers, and educational staff in the process of problem identification, solution discussion, and joint action. The activity was conducted on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at SMP Plus Ma’arif NU Pangandaran, Desa Wonoharjo, involving 70 students and the entire educational staff. The seminar implementation included three main stages: interactive counseling, case studies, and role-playing simulations. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of bullying and minor criminality issues, as well as the growth of empathetic and reflective attitudes towards social conditions in the school environment. Furthermore, students demonstrated enthusiasm in participating in discussions and were able to propose alternative solutions to the social problems faced. In conclusion, this activity not only succeeded in instilling positive character values but also encouraged active student participation in shaping a safer school culture that supports a healthy learning process.
