Abstract
This study aims to analyze the main aspects of developmental psychology in early childhood, including physical development, language development, social-emotional growth, personality formation, and the influence of social and cultural environments. The research employs a qualitative method using a literature review approach, drawing from studies and publications from the last ten years. The findings indicate that early childhood is a critical period in which environmental factors such as family, school, community, and cultural values that play a vital role in shaping children’s abilities and behaviors. Supportive and stimulating environments significantly enhance developmental outcomes, whereas inadequate environments may hinder children’s growth. Thus, early childhood development is formed through the dynamic interaction between biological factors and environmental experiences from an early age.
