Abstract
This study aims to understand the psychological dynamics of the quarter-life crisis among fresh graduates in terms of affective, cognitive, and behavioral aspects based on Bloom’s psychological dynamics framework. This research employs a qualitative phenomenological approach using in-depth interviews with several fresh graduates who have not yet obtained permanent employment. The data analysis technique used is Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), with data validity ensured through member checking. The findings indicate that the quarter-life crisis experienced by fresh graduates is influenced by several contributing factors, including high parental standards and demands, a prestigious family background, and habitual exposure to social comparison.
