A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving document analysis of consolidated financial reports and interviews with key stakeholders, including government officials, auditors, and users of financial information. This methodological approach allows for a detailed and contextual understanding of the implementation process of consolidated financial reporting in the public sector. The findings of this study are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the implementation of consolidated financial statements in the Central Government sector for the year 2023. Additionally, the study aims to propose recommendations for improving and enhancing the quality of future financial reporting.
