Abstract

The research on the creation, application, and efficacy of digital learning resources in secondary education is systematically reviewed in this study. To find new trends, design strategies, learning objectives, and pedagogical implications, fifteen peer-reviewed publications from 2020 to 2025 were examined. Results show that digital learning resources, including web-based platforms, multimedia content, animations, augmented reality, and e-interactive modules, greatly increase student motivation, engagement, and comprehension. The successful integration of digital materials was found to be significantly influenced by teacher digital competency, infrastructure preparedness, and institutional support. Additionally, this assessment emphasizes the necessity for inclusive and adaptable material design by highlighting ongoing gaps in students' digital skills. Overall, the study comes to the conclusion that the creation of digital materials raises the standard of secondary education when it is backed by a solid pedagogical basis and sufficient technological capability, offering significant guidance for future advancements in digital learning resources.
