This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Natural Science (IPA) through the implementation of the Word Square cooperative learning model in fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 29 Banyuanyara. The background of this study stems from the problems of low active student participation, lack of enthusiasm in participating in lessons, and suboptimal learning outcomes due to the use of conventional learning models. This study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, implemented in several cycles. The study subjects consisted of 10 students, including 4 boys and 6 girls. Data collection techniques were conducted through tests, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Word Square model significantly improved student engagement and learning outcomes. Through word-to-answer matching activities, students became more engaged in the learning process, were able to collaborate with their peers, and demonstrated increased understanding of the material. Thus, the Word Square model has proven effective in creating a fun, interactive, and meaningful learning environment for elementary school students.
