Epistemologi adalah cabang filsafat yang membahas tentang hakikat pengetahuan, bagaimana pengetahuan diperoleh, dan apa yang dianggap sebagai pengetahuan yang sah. Dalam konteks ilmu pengetahuan, epistemologi menjadi landasan penting dalam menentukan sumber-sumber pengetahuan, metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh dan mengujinya, serta kriteria kebenaran yang digunakan untuk memverifikasi keabsahan suatu pengetahuan. Jurnal ini akan mengkaji secara mendalam epistemologi ilmu pengetahuan, mencakup tiga aspek utama: sumber pengetahuan ilmiah, metode ilmiah dalam memperoleh pengetahuan, dan kriteria kebenaran dalam ilmu. Analisis ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman menyeluruh terhadap fondasi filosofis dari ilmu pengetahuan modern.
