The implementation of the independent curriculum is one of the steps in improving the quality of education by emphasizing student-centered learning and oriented towards meaningful learning. This research aims to describe the implementation of the independent curriculum in realizing meaningful learning at SDN 007 Tembilahan. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The research informants consisted of school principals, classroom teachers and students. Data collection is carried out through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN 007 Tembilahan is realized through differentiated learning, strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile, and utilizing flexible and contextual teaching modules. Teachers provide opportunities for students to play an active, creative and reflective role in the learning process so that the material learned can be understood in a more in-depth and meaningful way. In general, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN 007 Tembilahan has a positive impact on realizing meaningful learning in schools.
