STRUKTUR JIWA MANUSIA DALAM PANDANGAN PSIKOLOGI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Abstract

Islamic educational psychology is a discipline that seeks to integrate modern psychological studies with transcendental values ​​derived from revelation. This study emphasizes that humans are viewed as inseparable physical and spiritual beings, therefore the psychological dimension must be understood holistically. This research employed a qualitative method with a library research approach, analyzing classical and contemporary literature discussing the structure of the soul in Islam. The results indicate that the structure of the human soul consists of four main dimensions: the heart (qalb), the mind (aql), the soul (nafs), and the soul (ruh). All four play a crucial role in personality formation and the educational process. The heart (qalb) serves as the center of spirituality and morality, the mind (aql) functions as an instrument of thought, the soul (nafs) needs to be controlled to prevent it from hindering the learning process, and the soul (ruh) provides a transcendental orientation for drawing closer to God. Its relevance to Islamic education lies in the need for an integrative curriculum, holistic learning methods, comprehensive evaluation, and the role of the teacher as a murabbi (leader). Thus, Islamic education not only shapes intellectual intelligence but also fosters sincerity, self-control, and noble morals to produce perfect human beings.
