The PHP programming language is one of the main technologies in web-based application development. PHP is widely used due to its simple syntax, strong community support, and ability to integrate with various databases such as MySQL. This study aims to analyze the role and implementation of PHP in building modern web applications using the Laravel framework approach. The method used is literature review and experimental implementation by building a simple PHPMySQL based application prototype. The results show that PHP, with the support of modern frameworks, can increase development efficiency by up to 70% compared to pure coding. Furthermore, Laravel's security and database management features accelerate data integration and system testing processes.
