PENGARUH PEMANFAATAN MYSQL TERHADAP OPTIMALISASI PENGELOLAAN DAN PENYIMPANAN DATA PADA APLIKASI SISTEM INFORMASI

Abstract

The advancement of Information Technology demands fast, accurate, and secure data management. MySQL, as a key subsystem in information systems, plays a crucial role in data processing, storage, and retrieval due to its open-source nature and compliance with industrial standards. This research analyzes the utilization of MySQL for optimizing data processing and storage in information system applications through a literature study of relevant journals, documents, and books. The findings indicate that MySQL features such as indexing, normalization, InnoDB, and ACID transaction mechanisms support query execution speed, security, stability, and storage efficiency. With extensive integration support, MySQL proves to be an effective solution for enhancing information system performance and is recommended for future system development.
