Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has led to a significant increase in the use of video streaming applications, one of which is VIU, a platform that provides a wide range of Asian drama and entertainment content. The high level of competition among streaming platforms requires service providers to continuously improve application quality in order to meet user needs and expectations. Therefore, evaluating user satisfaction is a crucial factor in assessing the success of an application. This study aims to analyze the level of user satisfaction with the VIU application using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) model, which focuses on the experiences of end users in interacting with information systems.

The EUCS model is applied because it effectively measures user satisfaction based on five main dimensions: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through the distribution of Likert-scale questionnaires to 150 respondents who are active users of the VIU application in Indonesia. Validity and reliability tests were conducted to ensure the quality of the research instrument, while data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods with the assistance of statistical software.

The results of the study indicate that, overall, the level of user satisfaction with the VIU application falls into the satisfactory category. The ease of use and content dimensions achieved the highest average scores, suggesting that the VIU application is easy to use and offers content that meets user preferences and expectations. However, the format dimension received a relatively lower score compared to other dimensions, indicating that improvements in user interface design and information presentation are still needed. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for VIU application developers in enhancing service quality and user experience. Furthermore, this study may serve as a reference for future research related to user satisfaction evaluation of digital applications using the EUCS model.
