Abstract
Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengalaman burnout pada mahasiswa yang menjalankan peran ganda sebagai pekerja paruh waktu di UIN Walisongo Semarang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis, penelitian melibatkan lima mahasiswa perempuan yang telah bekerja paruh waktu antara 9 bulan hingga 1,5 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan Descriptive Phenomenological Analysis (DPA) berdasarkan tiga dimensi burnout Maslach dan Jackson (1981): emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, dan reduced personal accomplishment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa emotional exhaustion merupakan dimensi paling dominan yang dialami semua partisipan, dipicu oleh role overload akibat tumpukan jadwal kuliah dan kerja. Depersonalization menunjukkan pola bervariasi, dengan hanya satu partisipan mengalami manifestasi signifikan berupa sikap sinis dan ledakan emosi, sementara yang lain mampu mempertahankan kepedulian sosial meskipun mengalami kelelahan. Reduced personal accomplishment termanifestasi dalam penurunan prestasi akademik dan cognitive interference, namun tidak dialami semua partisipan berkat fleksibilitas jadwal kerja dan kemampuan manajemen waktu. Strategi coping yang digunakan bervariasi dari problem-focused coping yang adaptif hingga avoidance coping yang kurang efektif. Penelitian ini memperkaya pemahaman teoretis tentang burnout pada populasi mahasiswa dengan peran multipel dan merekomendasikan program intervensi berbasis skill development, kebijakan fleksibilitas akademik, serta penguatan sistem dukungan sosial untuk mendukung kesejahteraan mahasiswa pekerja paruh waktu.
