Abstract
This study aims to describe a mentoring model for young entrepreneurs using a strategic business management-based counseling guidance approach as an effort to enhance business independence and competitiveness. This research applies a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of young entrepreneurship mentoring activities in Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, validated by source triangulation. The results indicate that integrating counseling guidance and strategic management can strengthen both the psychological and strategic aspects of young entrepreneurs. This approach assists participants in recognizing their potential, increasing entrepreneurial motivation, and formulating adaptive business strategies in response to market dynamics. The model effectively cultivates young entrepreneurs who are independent, innovative, and globally competitive.
