This study aims to describe the implementation of extracurricular handicraft activities in enhancing student creativity at MIN Kota Jayapura and identify inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that extracurricular handicraft activities at MIN Kota Jayapura are carried out twice a month with high enthusiasm from students. The implementation of the activities includes a simple planning stage, implementation that emphasizes direct practice in making crafts from used materials, and evaluation based on student work. This activity has been proven to be able to increase student creativity in terms of originality, accuracy, and courage to express themselves. The inhibiting factors found are limited facilities, funds, and implementation time. Overall, handicraft activities play an important role in shaping creative, independent, and responsible students.
