The BUGARIN application was developed as a solution to help users particularly Gen-Z and young adults build healthier lifestyle habits by monitoring sleep patterns, caffeine intake, hydration, and eating routines. This study adopts the Design Thinking methodology, which consists of the empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing stages. User exploration revealed that most target users exhibit irregular daily habits due to academic and work pressures, thus requiring an application that is simple, intuitive, and non-judgmental. Based on these findings, a prototype of BUGARIN was designed using Figma, featuring quick logging, adaptive reminders, a progress dashboard, and daily and weekly behavior insights. An initial usability review conducted with a small group of participants indicated that the interface was easy to understand and helped users increase awareness of their daily habits. This study provides an early-stage design framework for a health-oriented habit-tracking application that prioritizes emotional comfort and usability.
