The Decision Support System (DSS) for selecting boarding houses in Manokwari, West Papua, using the Fuzzy Logic Tsukamoto method was developed to assist prospective tenants in choosing the most suitable boarding house based on their preferences and needs. The selection process involves multiple criteria such as facilities, distance, room size, and price. These criteria are often subjective and uncertain, making the Fuzzy Logic Tsukamoto method an appropriate approach for handling linguistic data and producing more realistic, human-like decisions. The system is implemented as a web-based application to allow easy access anytime and anywhere. The Tsukamoto Fuzzy Logic approach enables the fuzzification of input data, formulation of fuzzy rules, and defuzzification to produce precise boarding house recommendations. The system was tested using Black Box Testing, showing that all functional requirements were met and that it provides accurate and dynamic recommendations based on user input. Furthermore, the system supports efficient data management and enhances the decision-making process for selecting boarding houses. This web-based Fuzzy Logic Tsukamoto DSS effectively aids in making quick and accurate decisions, making it easier for users to find boarding houses that meet their expectations.
