EVALUASI KUALITAS FUNGSIONAL DAN USABILITY WEBSITE AUTOMATIONEXERCISE MENGGUNAKAN ISO/IEC 29119

Abstract

Software testing is a critical phase in ensuring the quality of information systems, particularly in terms of functional performance and usability. This study aims to evaluate the functional quality and usability of the AutomationExercise website using the ISO/IEC 29119 standard as a software testing reference. The AutomationExercise website was selected due to its open-access nature and the availability of interactive features suitable for testing activities. The testing method applied in this study is black-box testing, which focuses on validating system functionality without examining the internal code structure. The evaluation was conducted on core features, including user registration, login processes, account management, and automated interaction features. In addition, usability aspects were assessed based on ease of use, interface clarity, and system responsiveness to user actions. The testing process was carried out in a web-based environment using test scenarios designed according to ISO/IEC 29119 guidelines. The results indicate that most system functionalities operate as expected; however, several minor issues were identified, such as inadequate input validation and inconsistent interface responses. These findings provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving the functional quality and usability of the AutomationExercise website, as well as contributing to the practical implementation of ISO/IEC 29119 in web-based software testing.

Abstrak

Pengujian perangkat lunak merupakan tahap krusial untuk memastikan kualitas sistem informasi, khususnya dari sisi fungsional dan usability. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas fungsional dan usability pada website AutomationExercise menggunakan standar ISO/IEC 29119 sebagai acuan pengujian perangkat lunak. Website AutomationExercise dipilih karena bersifat terbuka dan menyediakan berbagai fitur interaktif yang relevan untuk dilakukan pengujian. Metode pengujian yang digunakan adalah black-box testing, dengan fokus pada pengujian fungsionalitas tanpa meninjau struktur kode internal sistem. Pengujian dilakukan pada beberapa fitur utama, antara lain proses registrasi, login, manajemen akun pengguna, serta interaksi fitur otomatisasi. Selain itu, aspek usability dievaluasi berdasarkan kemudahan penggunaan, kejelasan antarmuka, dan respons sistem terhadap aksi pengguna. Proses pengujian dilakukan dalam lingkungan berbasis web dengan skenario uji yang disusun sesuai standar ISO/IEC 29119. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, namun masih ditemukan beberapa permasalahan minor seperti validasi input yang kurang optimal dan respons antarmuka yang belum konsisten. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas fungsional dan usability website AutomationExercise serta memberikan kontribusi praktis dalam penerapan standar ISO/IEC 29119 pada pengujian perangkat lunak berbasis web.
