Abstract

The Model–View–Controller (MVC) architecture has become the standard in modern web application development, including implementations using the Laravel framework. This study analyzes the application of the MVC architecture to Laravel-based web application development using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research focuses on the implementation of Model, View, and Controller components to create a simple CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) application for a user management system. The analysis covers the role of separating business logic, views, and data access in improving code readability, modularity, and system maintainability. The results show that implementing MVC in Laravel significantly improves software development quality through the principle of separation of concerns, facilitating parallel development, and simplifying the testing process. The Laravel framework provides features such as Eloquent ORM, Blade Templating Engine, and Routing that support efficient MVC implementation. This study concludes that implementing the MVC architecture in Laravel significantly contributes to the quality, scalability, and maintainability of modern web applications.
