The advancements in information technology have driven organizations to process vast amounts of data in a fast and effective manner. Cloud Computing and Big Data are two key technologies that complement each other in supporting modern information systems. The integration of these two technologies enables information systems to produce more accurate, real-time, and strategically valuable information crucial for decision-making. The purpose of this article is to explore the concept of integrating Cloud Computing and Big Data within the context of information systems, the resulting benefits, the challenges in its implementation, as well as its development opportunities in the future.
