PELATIHAN TATA KELOLA DAN STANDARISASI HOMESTAY PADA DESA WISATA KELAWI DAN PANTAI MINANG RUA DI DUSUN KAYUTABU, BAKAUHENI, LAMPUNG SELATAN

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the skills of homestay managers in Kelawi Tourism Village, Bakauheni District, South Lampung Regency, through training that focuses on professional, sustainable homestay management that meets the needs of tourists. The main problems faced by partners include a lack of understanding of homestay service standards, daily management, marketing via the internet, and the provision of facilities that meet tourism criteria. The training was conducted through interactive presentation of basic materials and concepts, demonstrations, direct guidance, and practical evaluations in the field. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants knowledge of homestay standards of cleanliness, comfort, safety, and service, as well as an improvement in their skills in managing reservations, utilizing digital media for promotion, and designing tourism service packages. In addition, participants successfully applied the principles of hospitality and gradually improved the quality of existing facilities. This activity is expected to increase the attractiveness of Kelawi Tourism Village as a community based tourist destination and encourage sustainable local economic development.
