SISTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW : PERENCANAAN PREVENTIFE MAINTENEANCE UNIT ALAT BERAT DENGAN METODE RELIABILITY CENTERED MAINTENEANCE

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Designing maintenance for heavy equipment is important to keep industrial operations running smoothly, especially in the construction, mining, or material transportation sectors. Common problems that arise include sudden equipment breakdowns, unplanned downtime, and inflated costs due to disorganized maintenance. Therefore, clear and regular preventive maintenance is a key requirement. The goal is to make equipment more reliable and operational costs more efficient. This study discusses the analysis through a systematic literature review of the application of preventive maintenance with a reliability-centered maintenance approach on heavy equipment. The method used is a systematic literature review, whereby researchers collect, select, and analyze literature from various related academic sources to identify patterns, strategies, and results of the application of reliability-centered maintenance on various types of heavy equipment. The results show that reliability-centered maintenance-based preventive maintenance can reduce damage cases, extend the life of important components, and reduce equipment downtime. In addition, this approach also helps determine maintenance priorities, set service schedules, and make labor and cost usage more efficient. In essence, preventive maintenance using the reliability-centered maintenance method is effective and suitable for improving heavy equipment performance. This method can also serve as a basis for developing more sustainable and measurable maintenance strategies in the future.

ABSTRAK

Merancang pemeliharaan untuk alat berat itu penting supaya operasional industri tetap lancar, apalagi di bidang konstruksi, tambang, atau transportasi material. Masalah yang sering muncul biasanya alat tiba-tiba rusak, downtime tanpa rencana, dan biaya yang membengkak karena perawatan kurang terorganisir. Karena itu, preventive maintenance yang jelas dan teratur jadi kebutuhan utama. Tujuannya supaya alat lebih andal dan ongkos operasional lebih efisien. Kajian ini membahas analisis lewat studi literatur sistematis soal penerapan preventive maintenance dengan pendekatan reliability centered maintenance pada alat berat. Metode yang dipakai adalah systematic literature review, jadi peneliti mengumpulkan, memilih, dan membedah literatur dari berbagai sumber akademis yang berhubungan, untuk melihat pola, strategi, dan hasil penerapan reliability centered maintenance pada macam-macam alat berat. Dari hasil yang didapat, preventive maintenance berbasis reliability centered maintenance bisa menurunkan kasus kerusakan, memperpanjang usia komponen penting, dan mengurangi waktu alat tidak beroperasi. Selain itu, pendekatan ini juga membantu menentukan prioritas perawatan, mengatur jadwal servis, serta membuat penggunaan tenaga kerja dan biaya jadi lebih efisien. Intinya, preventive maintenance dengan metode reliability centered maintenance efektif dan cocok dipakai untuk meningkatkan performa alat berat. Cara ini juga bisa jadi dasar untuk mengembangkan strategi perawatan yang lebih berkelanjutan dan terukur ke depannya
