SISTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW : ANALISIS PENGARUH JENIS PELUMAS TERHADAP EFISIENSI DAN PERFORMA MESIN

Abstract

Pelumas memiliki peranan penting dalam menjaga kinerja serta efisiensi mesin dengan cara mengurangi gesekan, mencegah keausan, dan mengontrol suhu operasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana jenis pelumas — yaitu mineral, semi-sintetis, dan sintetis — berpengaruh terhadap efisiensi dan performa mesin. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah Systematic Literature Review (SLR), di mana proses pencarian dan seleksi artikel ilmiah dilakukan melalui berbagai basis data seperti ScienceDirect, ResearchGate, dan Google Scholar. Kata kunci yang digunakan antara lain “engine oil performance”, “lubricant efficiency”, dan “engine wear analysis”.Dari publikasi yang diperoleh, sebanyak 10 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan relevan dengan topik kajian. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa pelumas sintetis secara konsisten memberikan performa terbaik, terutama dalam hal stabilitas suhu, efisiensi bahan bakar, serta perlindungan terhadap keausan komponen. Sebaliknya, pelumas mineral memiliki keterbatasan pada ketahanan termal dan masa pakai yang relatif singkat. Pelumas semi-sintetis menempati posisi tengah, menawarkan keseimbangan antara performa tinggi dan efisiensi biaya operasional. Secara keseluruhan, hasil studi ini menegaskan bahwa pemilihan jenis pelumas yang tepat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efisiensi energi dan umur operasional mesin pembakaran dalam.
