Talang Semut Village, located in Seluma Regency, Bengkulu, offers vast and beautiful rice fields. While previously known as a gathering place for local residents, Talang Semut Village is now being considered for development as an agro-tourism destination. This transformation aims to provide added economic value, preserve farming culture, and improve the welfare of the surrounding community. Research shows that agro-tourism development in Talang Semut Village faces several obstacles, including a lack of promotion and low human resource capacity. With this strategy, it is hoped that the rice fields of Talang Semut Village can develop into a sustainable agro-tourism destination that provides economic, social, and cultural benefits to the community. Based on the SWOT analysis, the tourism village development strategy implemented includes developing tourist attractions, improving facilities and infrastructure, increasing visitor accessibility, community empowerment, establishing development partnerships, and empowering marketing.
