Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh tekanan media sosial, kecenderungan membandingkan diri, dan penggunaan media sosial berlebihan terhadap Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) pada mahasiswa Generasi Z Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji peran harga diri dan tekanan psikologis sebagai variabel intervening, serta pengendalian diri sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei kuantitatif dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap FOMO, dimana mahasiswa dengan harga diri yang lebih tinggi cenderung lebih percaya diri dan tidak mudah merasa tertinggal. Variabel lainnya tidak menunjukkan pengaruh langsung yang signifikan. Selain itu, pengendalian diri berpengaruh tidak langsung terhadap FOMO melalui harga diri, yang menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal lebih berperan dibandingkan tekanan lingkungan digital
